When I close the poll at 9pm, the results will be displayed.

This is exciting then.    I wonder if the English Democrats will get a vote. 

Thank you to everyone who took the time cast a vote, amazing results. And they were the same porportion to the poll I had seen on Facebook, but that disappeared.

I seem to remember quite a few years ago a thread about why it is that most UKY members are more liberal than conservative (in terms of both US and UK politics). But that's another whole topic!

I have been watching for a result like the states I am glad to know it won't be till later so I can go to bed as for once I have to be up tomorrow morning

Me, too.  I haven't really followed politics here as closely as I do in the US, but I have to say I like my MP and I hope he keeps his seat.

I'd like to see our MP back in too, but because our constituency includes the Isles of Scilly, we won't have any results at all until tomorrow. They have to physically bring the ballot papers back to the mainland, so they don't even start counting until the morning. We're always last. 

We're a new seat, so I'm really intrigued who will get into mine.  Plus we're a marginal.  I'm not sure I want to go to bed.
