Thank you to everyone who took the time cast a vote, amazing results. And they were the same porportion to the poll I had seen on Facebook, but that disappeared. ???

Those are interesting results.

I seem to remember quite a few years ago a thread about why it is that most UKY members are more liberal than conservative (in terms of both US and UK politics). But that's another whole topic!  ;)

yes, good point, in my sense I meant, actual, as being reported at the moment results,
I'm all new to this UK election thing :P

Me, too.  I haven't really followed politics here as closely as I do in the US, but I have to say I like my MP and I hope he keeps his seat.

I'd like to see our MP back in too, but because our constituency includes the Isles of Scilly, we won't have any results at all until tomorrow. They have to physically bring the ballot papers back to the mainland, so they don't even start counting until the morning. We're always last.  :-\\\\

We're a new seat, so I'm really intrigued who will get into mine.  Plus we're a marginal.  I'm not sure I want to go to bed.
