Congrats!
I think people have posted some good info here, so I won't repeat. I just wanted to say I have been very pleased with my NHS care during pregnancy here. Despite there being some really scatter-brained GPs and midwives, I have really liked the midwife-led care and have had no real issues with it. I am not high risk, but I have seen a GP twice throughout, as that is standard for my area, I guess. Also, the Early Pregnancy Units are really slick and nice early on, and there are a lot of options for care in general.
Like most NHS things, I think it really depends on the area you live in. It can be hit or miss, but in general it's been quite good for me. There has never been a time where I felt like my questions weren't being answered or my needs met. If I felt like anything was wrong at any point, I know exactly where to go and who to call.
I'd just do some reading on your options from the links others provided and start investigating what your GP/area offers.
