I've been trying to escape Ohio for yr now. Glad I finally am.

I felt like that, too. Living away from Ohio has made me appreciate it in some way and I'm rather fond of the place now. Plus all my british friends think Ohio is cool thanks to Glee, lol.
I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, 'If this isn't nice, I don't know what is.' Kurt Vonnegut

Welcome!!

Seems like a lot of Clevelanders/Ohioans here. I grew up in Cleveland.

@l.davis - I definitely escaped ;)

I've never watched Glee, so don't know the connection.

I'm surprised by all the Ohio people here.

Congrats on your marriage!

We live in Ohio right now- (Southwest)- soon to be in London for a three year stint. I'm actually from Michigan, but my husband has lived in Ohio his entire life. I hope your visa is processed soon!

Small world (and getting smaller).  I lived just off RR Dr between Puritas & Lorain for 21yrs.

I couldn't tell - you're not at all excited about being in Notts shortly.   ;)

Another Clevelander (born and raised on the West Side) here. I moved back to Ohio last summer after nearly 15 years away---in TX and Chicago. I really missed Ohio (I couldn't stand Texas at all) so I was thrilled to come back.  But obviously we didn't last too long. We're off to Norwich in about 2 months.

Good to see Glee is making Ohio "cool." It gets kinda old trying to defend the Buckeye State (especially when it's fellow Buckeyes who are the harshest critics!)

I've just moved to the UK from Fairview Park, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland.
