I miss the sun! :(

We've got some gorgeous white fluffy clouds floating around and the occasional sprinkle, but, in between, there is a lot of sunshine! Excellent.

I forgot to take my hat and gloves out of the house with me and I was FREEZING walking to work.

Yeah, sunny but chilly & windy here first thing this morning.  I only wore a light cardie/jacket, thinking it'll warm up.  By lunchtime, it was very cloudy & threatening rain & I was frrrreeeeezing when I went out!  Then by the time I got off work, the sun was back out & it was pleasant, but not especially warm.  So all over the place really!

Oh I hope we get better weather for the weekend than they are forecasting - no major rain please!

I can relate to this one! As a SoCal girl now in Somerset, I almost always miss the sun! This last weekend was so glorious; it wasn't even humid. It felt like how summer should be. I'm hoping that we will have many more days like it this summer. After all, the summer of 2006 (in the UK) had many glorious, sunny days.

I was visiting over here in July '06 (live here, now). What I remember about that Summer is it was hot as blazes. The week I was here they were calling it the hottest since they'd begun keeping records. Thought I'd melt riding the busses around London. Out in the country it was just as rough.
