I guess my comfort food are just a lot of the things I cook normally.  Soup is number one.  Anything tomato-y like tomato-y pasta sauce with bread to dip in.  Ice cream, maybe.  Real oatmeal (not instant) with maybe some honey or brown sugar and a little milk in it.

A lot of childhood comfort foods I don't eat anymore like baloney sandwiches on white bread with Campbell's chicken and stars (or something similar) soup.  The thought of eating it now brings a smile, but--yuck!

When I am sick, hot and sour soup. From childhood, pierogies and sour cream with fried onions or homemade bread.
