ok yes yes I know this is the UK - Yankee forum but I moved from the states to Switzerland to be with my English g.f. (now wife of 10 years )

and.. for what it's worth we have a house down Cornwall... we should have been there for holiday  a couple of weeks ago except for that **** ash cloud.

Nova Scotia ( dartmouth ) but have family ( nieces, nephews, cousins... ) in TO.

Ages since I have been over that way (east) (TO)! Never been as far as the Maritimes. Used to live in Montreal, but from Vancouver and spend most of my visits back in Canada between Vancouver, the Island and Seattle. Spend family visits in the UK between Dorset and Devon and sometimes, Cornwall.

I don't know what it is but almost all the Cannucks I meet over here are from B.C. , rare I ever meet anyone from the Maratimes. ( mrs G. works with one guy from Halifax but thats about it )
