I'm nowhere near Surrey, nor American, but welcome to UKY!  :)

I was in Merstham (just down the road) for a few months when we first arrived. Now in Eastbourne -- sorry! -- but maybe I can give you some advice if you need it. Welcome!

Hi~
I've never posted here and just browsed up until now (I'm American living in the US, but married to a Brit) . . . anyhow, my husband is from Redhill/Reigate and a friend of mine (American) lives there now - married to a friend of my husband. Confused yet?

Anyhow - she lives in a pretty central Redhill location,  is 31 and has a 18 month old little girl who keeps her pretty busy, but I'm sure if you wanted to meet up for coffee or something, she'd be happy to meet you.

I hope you are enjoying the area. When we visit my in-laws in Reigate, the beauty of Surrey is just about the only thing that makes things tolerable . . . that and the many pubs within walking distance!

Hello,

I'm currently living in Copthorne, which is very close to Redhill. Lived in Creepy Crawley for 6 years previously.

I'm 33-years-old and have a 4-year-old daughter.

Welcome to the board, Leza!

Just saw your post: I live in Walton-on-Thames. Naturalized American. A few years older than you but always looking for other Expats  :)

I am live in Crawley as well, just moved here a month ago to be with my husband. I'm 22 and would be more than happy to meet up any time, I have not had any American company since I've been here and I could really use some.
