I have the Clark Howard web site on my 'bookmarks' and he has a lot of good consumer information. He lives a very thrifty life so that may appeal to some. He has a TV show here in the US.

Todays notes were very good. Fares across the Atlantic and beware of counterfeit currency. I didn't know some of this stuff.

Anyhow some of you will enjoy reading his notes on a daily basis and you can save money.

Yep, I've seen this guy on US telly quite a few times I've been over there now. I like the style of the show, with people calling in etc, very 'USA like' - they really need a similar show here in the UK, but I think many people will be afraid to do so and admit that they're part of the reason the UK is in such a big pile of the brown stuff !

I think Martin from Money Saving Expert.com is the UK's nearest and well known equivalent and at least the website is fairly busy!

Some of the tips I've been doing for years now, however seeing as our family home has recently been extended for another 1000Sq ft or so, I need to do a full on evaluation and cost cutting excercise again!
