Ohioan and a Michigander relocating to London

We are relocating to London 15/08/2010. (Practicing the "correct" date & month).
Ohioan is a research engineer; Michigander is an urban planner, soon to be unemployed tag-along. Ohioan will work at University College London- so we are looking to live within 1 mile radius of Euston Station.

The hardest part of this whole process has been getting our dog into the UK. As it is, we think he might have to stay with relatives until Christmas to comply with all DEFRA regulations  :\\\'(

Nice!  I am a bit of both - born in Ohio, lived there a while then moved to Michigan lived there a while as well, currently in Ohio then off to England!

My mind belongs to Michigan for state side.

My heart is in Manchester! ;D

I am from Ohio as well. What part are you from? I am from Dayton. I live close to London with my DH. Good luck on getting everything together and moving. It is beautiful over here. If you have any questions just ask. Sorry to hear about your dog.

We are also in Dayton. Though, I'm from Grand Rapids, Michigan. I moved to Dayton to be with my DH who is civilian military- hence the short notice on the move to UK! We only found out in early May.
