New to the site...Hello!
« on: August 18, 2004, 04:47:00 PM »
I have been on for a couple of weeks and I think I should say hi and tell a bit about myself. I am 29 and live in Wisconsin with my husband, David. He is the lovely but quiet Englishman. I am the loud talking yank! ;D We have Samantha, 8 and Christopher 2 months. I haven't had much sleep in two months. Hubby travels for a company that restores Ferraris.

My dream and his is to move back to the UK. We are hoping to make this happen within the next two years. When I found this site I was thrilled. I have found a lot of useful info.

We met by being pen pals. This was before the internet and did the old fashion post which I think is more romantic. My family loves him to pieces. His is a bit less then happy about him being here but accept that we are here and me.

Welcome, UKLadyBug.  I just joined recently myself and have, indeed, found this board a treasure trove of information.  And, the friendly and warm support from others who have gone (or are going) through the same things really helps.
I was born in the Summer and at Night...my mother named me AUTUMN DAWN.  True story.

Jamie's...beyond the stars and past eternity.

EMAIL or PM me for information about gigs or about booking me (solo gig) or the band.

My husband and I "met" as penpals back in 1985 - so I understand what you mean about it being "more romantic."  ;D

I think the internet is great we are here aren't we. But writing a letter is just so much better. You get the feel of a persons feeling by how hard they write a word or how your name is written. And letters can be more intimate. I have every letter he sent and cry when I read them. Reading what he'd like to do to me hanging from a chandalier in a plactic mack is ...well you know! ;D

Welcome!  My husband and I met in person but fell in love through letters so I know just how wonderful they can be!
