Greeting Cards to the US
« on: June 09, 2010, 02:00:56 PM »
So I wanted to personalize a card to send to my stepdad for Father's Day in the US. I started to send him one from Moonpig, but shipping seems to cost a small fortune. I'm just wondering if there are any US sites that accept online payment from the UK, or any other cheaper alternatives? I may just have to get a regular card and post it off, from the looks of it.  :-\\\\

Hallmark has a few you can personalize.  Not sure if they accept UK payment.

you could always have moonpig send it to you then send it to the states yourself. If you order the card before 2pm. you will have it the next day

They don't accept payments outside the US. And the UK Hallmark site won't ship outside the UK, so that won't work.

But Moonpig is actually fine... for some reason, I must have picked a really expensive card or something because I personalized an awesome card for my stepdad and sent it to him and it only cost £3.35!  ;D

I cheated as I got a co-worker/friend who has wellsfargo also to give me her check card and address and I paid that way and transfered money to her.  YAY for having the same banks for US Halmark ;-)

(shameless plug)

If you wanted it sent directly to the USA it would only be the actual cost of postage.

Awww! Man, I would've done that yesterday if I had thought about it! I'll have to keep that in mind next time I want to send a card to the US.
