I'm really sorry, Ashley - how frightening!  :(
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

Oh, Ashley! How awful and violating! Sounds like the police responded promptly, at least?

Glad you and the girls were out, though. Just scary.  :(

I'm sorry, Ashley. That's totally violating. Do you expect any results from the police?

I am so sorry Ashley!  I know how violating and scary it feels (it happened to me twice!) and I agree it's so good you and the babies were not at home.  Sending peaceful and protective vibes for your family and your home.

How scary!  Glad you and the girls were out and are ok!  Had you sent photos to any family or put videos on youtube or anything that you can make copies of?

I'm sorry! I've never been robbed but I have been mugged. Granted, having someone in your home is completely different.

I believe here you can't put a bat in your room next to your bed, basically, I think if it is something there and you just grab it it's ok but if it is placed there with the purpose of being used as a weapon it's not. So hanging one loosely on the wall as a piece of americana may be ok.

Oh Ashley, I'm so sorry to hear this!  We were robbed during the day when I was out of the house with the kids, back in the US.  It's so scary and upsetting.  The police told us it was probably somebody from the neighborhood too.  >:(

The loss of your photographs and videos is especially heartbreaking.  I'm just glad that you're all safe.

Sorry to hear that this has happened, but thankful you weren't home when it did. I hope that you're able to get some photos of the girls from your family & friends (if you've put some on flckr, photobucket or FB you can snag them back from there).
