Thank you to all of you who suggested Taylors of Harrogate!!!!!!!  :-* Finally bought an old skool espresso maker (though Mr MLG wanted a fancy pants coffee machine for which we do not have room) and I had the *best* coffee I have ever made, if I do say so myself.

Aye I tend to stay with Taylors of Harrogate.
I usually buy the Hot Java Lava strength 6 or Rich Italian strength 4
They both do it for me when I haven't had a stock of Dunkins Coffee  ;D

Taylors rocks...I stumbled across it a couple of years ago and I mainly buy the HLJ like Kaylesh or their Limited Edition Java Jampit, but I've tried all of their blends.

I've been considering switching back to decaf and herb tea now that I am back in the UK.  My friend sent me back here with a bag of New England coffee, and I don't know if it's an old bag, but it's awful.  I don't want to throw it out though.  I've tried every method, and bleh.  She bought it for me because we used some Green Mountain coffee I had been given for breakfast when we were staying with her.  Not a fair trade at all IMO.  I am shaking my fist at her mentally every time I take a sip.

Because I've only been drinking two cups a day, and I am generally exhausted, drinking coffee doesn't seem to be making it hard for me to sleep.  That's the reason I gave it up to begin with.  I was so tempted to buy some new coffee yesterday at the shops.

Yeah, that New England stuff is pretty yuck. I bought some from the supermarket last time and it is pretty blah.

I really don't like "flavoured" coffees. I just want my coffee to taste like coffee.  In fact, I find the smell of those hazelnut brews nauseating. Someone always sits next to me on the T with one of those. Blech!

Although I'm a bit miffed about them closing my 2nd favorite location in Derby recently (they closed my favorite about 2 years ago!  :\\\'()...

Starbucks Holiday Cups & Holiday Coffee's start on 4 November.  :D

So far I know Egg Nog, Toffee Nut Latte and Gingerbread Latte are on the list but not sure about Black Cherry Mocha that they had last year.

There has been a massive Facebook Campaign to get Pumpkin Spice Latte brought to the UK, SB's response has been 'Based on our market research we do not believe that it would be a well received product at this time'. Wha?...So loads of messages, emails & letters have been sent to Corporate Headquarters about it and now they're saying they may trial it in some locations in the future.

Anyway...just letting you know, it's getting to be THAT time of year again  ;)

Woo hoo! I have to say I do enjoy their Christmas stuff.  But, I would enjoy a Pumpkin Spice Latte a heck of a lot more, especially in November!  My friends in the US keep posting FB statuses about their pumpkin coffee and it's no fair!  :P

Heard on the news last night that Starbuck's (in the US anyway) are going to start introducing booze! To make it more like a European cafe, I guess  ???
Well, OK -- so long as the coffee is the main draw.

Starbucks holiday coffee's are available tomorrow, though they won't be on the menu you'll have to ask for them specifically. So if you're nutty for Toffee Nut like me you can get your fix  ;D

For those not in the Starbucks rewards, the flavours are:

Toffee Nut Latte
Gingerbread Latte
Peppermint Mocha
Eggnog Latte

This may be (slightly) off topic. It seems that most people here seem to favour Starbucks coffee... I actually prefer Seattle's Best.. And now, Starbucks has bought the Seattle's Best company I thought I'd see some Seattle's Best Beans in the UK. Anyone found any.... Or any other Seattle's Best fans out there??

Going to the states in a couple of weeks, I may just have to bring a load home..

I had my first toffee nut latte of the season on Thursday, and thought of you, WebyJ!
