I have a question, has anyone ever tried to get a hold of world bridge?  There is a form you can fill out to ask questions about the visa wondering if anyone has attempted to contact them.

Quite a few people here on the forum have called Worldbridge in the past. However, we don't usually recommend calling them because it's really expensive ($3 per minute plus tax!) and they can't usually give you any more information than what is already written on their website (so you might as well either just read the website info or email them instead).

If you do want to call them from the US, they have two numbers:

1-855-408-0343 ($3 a minute plus tax, payable by credit/debit card only) or

1-900-656-5000  ($3 a minute plus tax, charged by your phone service provider).

Be aware though that they cannot provide any information regarding your visa application status.

Hi Ziptang :)
Mine came back in all the documents they sent back, I did think they were supposed to send back all original documents so maybe this is an oversight on their behalf?

First of all, though I know I'm not a prominent face on this site, I want to thank everyone for the completely invaluable information you've laid out here. Second, I'd like to say that my UK visa has been issued!! After a lot of worrying (and then a little more worrying after a potentially disastrous phone call from the ECO to my fiancee in the UK) it's time to go home. :)

For those interested here is my timeline so far:
06 April 2011 - Submitted application online
11 April 2011 - Submitted biometrics
11 April 2011 - Sent Application and supporting documents to UK Consulate NY, UPS Next Day Air
13 April 2011 - Received email confirming receipt of application by the consulate
19 April 2011 - Received email "Your UK Visa has been issued"!!!

Now it's just waiting to receive my passport and verify everything is correct before I book my flight :) Thanks again to everyone and good luck to those still waiting

Applies Monday Apr 11th
Biometrics Thursday Apr 14
Email saying they received everything Friday Apr 15

Good news, my hubby has secured down a lease for a lovely cottage in Cookham Village  ;D  Unfortunately, Monday is a bank holiday so he wont be able to send me everything until Tuesday.. but once it's in my hands, hopefully by Friday, I will be applying for my settlement visa.. I hope to God it's quick.. 6 months with no hubby and a solid month of collecting documents, screen shot printing and selling our US possessions have got my nerves are frazzled!  After the hell the US immigration put us through Im scared to death.
