You will receive further e-mails advising you of -
1.      When your application reaches the next stage of the process; review by an Entry Clearance Officer, and
2.      The outcome of your application. This e-mail will also provide you with details of your return package.

Hoping to hear good news about it before Christmas [smiley=antlers.gif]!! I'm excited and nervoussss!!  [smiley=juggle.gif]

good luck to everyone else in the same situation!  [smiley=heart.gif]

Does anyone know how quickly postal Set(M) applications are being dealt with at the moment?

My wife is applying for ILR using the Set(M) form and will be sending the form in at some point in the next week. However, she's scheduled to fly out of the UK in mid-Feb next year and I'm wondering how likely it is that she'll have her ILR visa in time to travel?

Thanks!

You can check the ILR processing times thread for more information (looks like it's been taking 14-16 weeks lately... I think people who applied by post in July/August 2011 received their ILRs in late November 2011): http://talk.uk-yankee.com/index.php?topic=61433.465

Hello, I found this site yesterday and thought I'd share my experience.

I sent my application on Friday by UPS next day air. It arrived yesterday at 10am NY time.

I received the confirmation email at 3:57pm (central) the same day, and the email telling me my visa has been issued at 11:22am this morning.
