Visa arrived in the mail today! woo! My fiance/sponsor wasn't contacted. :)

Everyones sponsor isn't contacted but there has been in the past posts where the sponsor was contacted and asked a few questions its nothing to really be alarmed of if they are contacted or not... also as Webyj would suggest please make sure that you look at your visa and ensure that all information is correct and have a safe trip hun

Thanks for the welcome.

We've been married 8 years so hopefully this will be straight forward.

I moved back to England in February and have been looking for work here before applying.

Have full time job, rental property lined up so we went ahead and applied.

Hoping they will see we've done everything right when they review. Fingers crossed, been apart too long.

Congratulations!

Try skyscanner, cheap o air, and farecompare and even kayak for flights.

Anyone know what days they are closed? I'm on business day 7 infront of an Eco.

The consulate website says they are closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week, so business days 8 and 9 for you should be Thursday 29th and Friday 30th.

They don't seem to have any dates up for 2012 yet, but as Jan 2nd is a public holiday I would imagine they'll be closed then as well, so in that case business day 10 for you would be Tues 3rd Jan.

awwww no hun cheer up u didnt make it worse actually its comforting to know ur not alone in a time that seems like the world is falling down on u lol i think the keeping busy part is not too good for me bcz i dont like going outside (house person) so i kinda have bought like 5 games on my Iphone one of which Salon Sally i completed the whole Luxury Edition in just 5 hrs i figure i cant keep cleaning the same things so y not play games n so it seems to b working some what  [smiley=juggle.gif] but thanx for being so supportive really helps

LOL! I tell you what, I got CRAZY! My poor family! When I went to visit them and during that period of time my moods were all over the place! I feel so bad about it now there was only soo much of the same stuff over and over you could do! I think I played games, watched a lot of netflix and since the weather was ok I walked a lot. I just had to do anything to keep from going nuts. I don't think was hubby in the UK was doing any better though! LOL!
