LOL! I tell you what, I got CRAZY! My poor family! When I went to visit them and during that period of time my moods were all over the place! I feel so bad about it now there was only soo much of the same stuff over and over you could do! I think I played games, watched a lot of netflix and since the weather was ok I walked a lot. I just had to do anything to keep from going nuts. I don't think was hubby in the UK was doing any better though! LOL!

Well i was doing fine in my own mind up until this morning when i had a dream the visa came in the mail finally lol i cried soooooo much from being happy in the dream that i kinda woke up feeling like i was being tortured lol hopefull i hear something soon but i am trying to do things to keep myself from going insane

Have your other half contact their MP and ask if they can contact the ukba for you and check on it. Has worked for me in the past and were going to do it tomorrow as well.

Tomorrow is our tenth business day.

Good luck everyone.

I have a quick question - I have seen a bunch of people talk about priority mail and forgive me if this is one of those stupid questions but I couldn't find anything on here about it - but is it different than regular mail? Do you get an answer back faster if you pay prioirty mail?

you don't pay priority mail to get them to make a swift decision its priority service on their part that is paid for meaning you pay extra when you pay for the application online via worldbridge for them to decide within 15 days or less

Holy Crap! :s And they guarantee an answer within 15 days? I mean, I guess the price is worth it if your in a pinch time wise with when you are wanting to move... Yeah, we really cant do anything until April when we find out if there are any rule changes and such aside from going ahead and collecting bank statements and printing out pay slips. I'm ready to have it over with... I hope you hear something soon from them!

it is recommended to pay the extra only for those who have straight forward cases but for those who have been refused, overstayed, or bounced out for any reason its best that they don't pay the extra as it might require more time then the 15 days to make a decision

i don't know what your circumstances are but i've seen many people on here not pay for priority and receive a Visa very soon some as little as hours and others as few as a week it depends on the situation at hand

I have noticed that as well in my observation of siggys with times and stuff in them. My husband currently lives in a shared house in the UK and in June or July will start looking for our house, that's really our time cruncher. I'm bringing my cat so he has to find a house that accepts pets as well. We are HOPING to have me over there by our one year anniversary (Oct. 15th) but that all depends on how long it takes him to find a house because we can't file for the visa without the lease to the house.

Aren't they?? i have a 3 year old, 15 lbs. one who is absolutely lovable. He's like having a child around (he's actually curled up ON my pillow and I'm having to rest my head on the bed, go figure!).

I'm so not looking foward to the waiting.. but to get there I must wait! So much to worry about, lol
