Americans in Southampton/Hampshire?

Hi there!!

Just wondering if someone might be able to shed some light on the following?!

My wife and I got married two months ago and have settled in Southampton.

She is from California and we would love the opportunity to meet with any Americans or (UK-US couples) to share experiences of being in the UK!!

I spend some time not too far from Southampton (about 3 times a year to see the in laws), but I'm not American!  Though I am from BC, so we are from the same coast.....

Hi. I see the post is from awhile ago. I'm American and my hubby is British. We live near Southampton, near Stockbridge and Romsey.   We've been living here since the spring and haven't run into other ex-pat couples.  How are you guys settling in? We are living with my in-laws until we find ft jobs so luckily have family support. Let us know if we can give you any advice or something.

Yes, a meetup in Southampton is just what is needed! I'm not far from the city center, but I could take a bus anywhere (within reason).
