Orzo?
« on: August 03, 2010, 01:18:22 PM »
When we were back in the USA my mom made a fantastic dish with orzo. I had a very brief search on Sainsburys and Waitrose's websites but didn't see it over here. I hadn't given it another thought until I bought a cheap women's magazine in the UK the other day and there was an recipe using orzo (!!!)

Anyone know where I can find it over here?

I've seen it in Tescos, Merchant Gourmet has some in their range as well. Ocado has three different varieties of orzo. If all else fails, italian deli?

Waitrose definitely has it in the shops near us (London).  I love it and buy it all the time.

Asda near me always has it. If you can't get Orzo, try a very small pasta from an italian deli.

It's in the pasta section of Waitrose. I live outside London and have a smaller Waitrose and we've got it so I hope that gives you hope! It's a small bag - much like a bag of rice and it is Waitrose-brand.
