I am clearly living on the wrong side of London! Might have to make a trip to Hammersmith soon for some pretzel goodness.  :D

I love these pretzels, and yet I'm still too lazy to walk the 10 minutes from work to try one!

I miss (and dream about sometimes) TCBY, and aways get a container of frozen yogurt larger than my skull when I fly through Atlanta airport.

Luckily my favorite fast food place has always been Subway, and to me English and Irish Subways taste the same as the American ones.

My husband likes McDonalds, and whenever we go, I usually get a milkshake or a pie only. Last time I got a chocolate milkshake and it was the most lack luster, vanilla-looking chocolate milkshake ever. That's the last time I get one of those!

To the OP, someone told me a while back they offer fresh, off the belt Krispy Kreme donuts at Gatwick Airport.

So that's where they're coming from! The ones at Waterloo station always look days old, yet strangely still appealing...  ::)

They bake them fresh at Paddington Station as well. My coworkers used to make me grab a dozen for people's birthdays on my way into work.
I grabbed a pretzel from Auntie Anne's yesterday on the way back from charing cross hospital, was great.

There's the one lone taco bell out in Lakeside shopping centre!

Great! I knew I had to go to Lakeside for something!

Southerchic and I are in the same area. I know how disheartening it is to spend nearly £8 on a dozen glazed, stale KK donuts at Tesco. Much better take the train from town into Gatwick Airport and buy them fresh.

There are a couple of Auntie Anne's Pretzels in London. One in Brent Cross and one in Hammersmith.

OMG WHAT???  Really?  Ohhhhhh it's field trip time!

 ;D

I really miss Dunkin Donuts.  Krispie Kreme is fine and all, but I miss my daily DD coffee.  I remember a DD in Piccadilly Circus on my first trip to London 15+ years ago, but it's long gone now.

I'm pretty psyched about the Chipotle that opened on Charing Cross Road (although I think Chilango is every bit as good).

I would sell my soul for a Chick-Fil-A.

Well, yeah! But I'd never go to London just for donuts. I'd have to throw Wagamama somewhere in there too!

Can report the Auntie Anne's pretzels at Hammersmith are the real thing! Perfect in every way. :)

If you are ever in Germany there are a ton of Dunkin Donuts in Berlin.

I've been to the OK Diner on MLG's recommendation & it's fabulous!  Always have to stop at the Newark one now, whenever we've been for a visit to my in-laws in Norfolk and are driving home (like at Christmas & birthday weekends, etc).  The milkshakes are really, really good - not like McDonalds milkshakes (and not like I've seen some really thin & runny British milkshakes - not sure if that's how they are supposed to be but yuck!), but REAL ice cream milkshakes - OMG, so good!  They do them individually in one of those milkshake blenders (not out of a tank or a powder or any kind of yuck like that), and bring it in a tall milkshake glass & also the rest of the shake in the metal cup that goes with the blender.  Like an old timey soda fountain!  :)

There is also Ed's Diner in London, Lakeside and Bluewater which is a lot like Johnny Rockets - except they have atomic fries which are absolutely amazing!

They make the milkshakes just how Mrs R describes below :)
