Frozen pizza dough

Just to let people know, DW found frozen pizza dough at Morrison's....she was very excited about it as she bemoans not being able to get it here like she can in the US.
So it's home made pizza for tea tomorrow - I'll report back on the results!

Oooooooooooo!!! That's great. I wonder if it's at my Morrisons.. I love pizza dough, not just for pizza, but I used to make fantastic calzones, stuffed sandwiches, garlic dippers, etc... I know I could make it, but sometimes its nice to have it premade.

CALZONES!  I miss my home-made calzones. I actually used pillsbury buttermilk biscuits rather than pizza dough to make mini calzones. They were nice for appetizers at dinner parties. Now I'm just too lazy to bother making them since I don't have the time or skill to make my own dough. (And because the BF doesn't eat cheese... )

Garlic dippers sound wonderful. I don't know why I never thought of making some! Do you have a recipe?

UPDATE - It was in the fridge not the freezer, I was confused as DW put it in the freezer when she got home! The brand name is Wewalka, and kept with the pastry.
It was good, crispy on the edge, too soggy under the topping but DW thinks that was more to do with using frozen cheese. She was very pleased with the dough so I shall go with her expertise! And I guess we'll be having it again! 

I just checked on MySupermarket.co.uk and apparently Tesco has it too.

DW used to buy it from the pizza counter in the supermarket in the US and then freeze it.
