Welcome to the forum & good luck to you.

What Ink-Spirational has pointed out is true - a good number of the folks who participate on this website are already married, engaged, or in partnerships with native British citizens.

(There are some on highly skilled migrant & work-sponsored visas though.  A lot of them have already partnered up too however.)

It's nice to hear how much you love the US.  :)

I'd recommend an internet dating site then such as Match.com, it's how I met my wife.

Agree about the match.com- I am on a work visa, was living here for a while, wanted a romance, went on there, met a few folks, and fell into a relationship with my Brit  :)  But it does work across the ocean as well, as well as other dating sites, so you never know who you'll find  :)

There are dating websites that are specifically for UK men and American women.  I seem to remember someone trying to push their site here, though it was sometime ago.  Some about "I like your accent" or something.  You might try giving that a go.

DH and I were pen friends, because we answered the same pen friend advert in different magazines. Rolling Stone for me, Fortean Times for him. He made up a story about me based on the info I provided for my profile. I've been hooked for the past 13 years! :D
