It's not hard to make pork pies, and they taste delicious home mase!

I've made them and it was sheer torture!!! But then I don't eat pork, so the entire exercise was beyond bleeeeeuuurgggh! The things we do for love.  :-X

aww I always make one at xmas, a big one you eat in slices with tons of herbs in it. It is quite hands on, so I can see why it would be torture!

I do like pork though, it's possibly my favourite meat. I quite enjoy making them! :)

Thank you, no black pudding for me. My mum did enjoy haggis when she was in Scotland though.  :o I'm just not into those sausage-y, pudding-y mixed up meats.

I miss toasted tea cakes.  :-\\\\

I dig black pudding-then again, for me, I just think, it's only pork blood. And pork blood's one of the main ingredients in one of my favourite Filipino dishes, so, it's nothing unusual for me to eat. I also like lots of things that DH can't stand. I like Scotch eggs. I like bacon butties. I like beans on toast. I like pork pies(the Mowbray's are the ultimate!) and sausage rolls. Still have to try haggis, but, when we take a trip to Scotland, it's on my personal itinerary. :D
