« on: August 22, 2010, 09:38:08 PM »
any Uni's that people have attended that anyone could recommend for my masters? I've been looking to programs, I'd love to attend one in London/South East area of England :) I'm getting my Bachelors Degree in International Business, any advice would be helpful !

I haven't attended it (haven't even studied business) but I think you can't go wrong with London School of Economics.  It has excellent reputation in the USA, and worldwide as well.  I know this because I was researching degrees in international relations and this would have been a great school if I had the background to do a Master's there.

What I will likely do is complete a distance-learning program in International Relations from the University of London External System (which was renamed last week but don't recall the name) and said program is directed by the LSE.
U of London is sort of an 'umbrella' of which many universities are part of.

(Please someone else chime me as since I'm not from a business background I might be giving terrible advice lol).

lol thanks for the post! I really appreciate it :) I've definitely been looking into that school. I'm debating about getting my masters or not, but I want the info in case I do. I really want to go back to London and I think that's the only way possible for me to be able to stay for a little while longer than just a visit :) Plus I love london, love traveling and enjoy school. So I think it could work. Yeah some of these I'm not sure if it's going to work or not, I was first going into International relations but that changed to International Business.

What is the distance learning program if you don't mind me asking? :)

LSE, definitely. Or if you change your mind and want to go up north, University of Manchester.
Now a triple citizen!

Student visa 9/06-->Int'l Grad Scheme 1/08-->FLR(M) 7/08-->ILR 6/10-->British citizenship 12/12

It's a graduate-entry BSc in International Relations.  It's very affordable.  Initially I was going to do a PGDip but when I saw how little the difference in cost was I decided I'd apply to the BSc.

Graduate entry is for people who already have a college degree so the credits to fulfill are less.

Here's the degree description:
