I always take my MIL a box of Yorkshire Gold. She loves it.
Last year I also took a gift set from Harrods to my SIL. It had two mugs and a pretty box of loose tea, not sure what kind but the Harrods label was enough  ;)

I normally drink just PG tips, but Harrods for when I feel rich. Or Tea Pigs (my sis says you can get tea pigs in the US now). Tea Pigs is easy for me to get, but Harrods I can only get if I'm in the airport or (if for some reason I'm in London) drive up to the Falls of Shin.

Harrods Christmas tea is my all time favourite of tea.  I need to triple stock up on it (is it out yet? I hope so, I'm in London/Gatwick airport next week and hope it is!!)
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

You're stuck with me!

odd question, but is this tea for someone who is an existing tea drinker looking for their fix, or an interested party looking to try tea for possibly the first time?

If it's the former, PG Tips or Yorkshire are safe bets.

If it's the latter, then whatever you send them, also print out and include this article from Douglas Adams:
