Am I right about the British female aide worker killed by American friendly fire?

Yes.  Very sad, but I understand why the UK gov't approved the operation.

I am definitely not a hawk, but I think in this case, it's important to remember the responsibility for this woman's death is with her captors.  That said, I am glad it's going to be a joint investigation, and hopefully, there will be no questions once the investigation has concluded.
