I don't know anything about that stuff, either, Chary!

Yes, I would like to post them by Monday, if that's okay... as the weekend is a good time to take photos for most people, I think. Or, at least it is for me.  :P

Hmm...I love taking pictures and my internet is finally hooked up.  Might not be able to do this every week but would love to give it a go!

So we'll just post the pics to this thread?  How is the voting going to work out?  I like the idea of the secret polling but not sure how to incorporate that into the thread if we are going to continue posting to the same thread each week (not sure if you can change/delete the polls).

The person who started the thread (moi) can edit the polls. So it shouldn't be a problem.  :)

Only thing is, since I was busy doing interviews, then started a job unexpectedly and now I've got my stepson all week and weather is pants right now, I haven't been able to get out and photograph (I know, lots of excuses!) I have some photos already that might fit with the theme, but I'd be cheating then.  ;) I might not even get to do it by Monday this week!  :-\\\\ :-[

I've seriously been meaning to take my camera off the shelf and take some photos. :)  This is a great idea, Jewlz & CB :)

Uh so these are a bit embarrassing, but I thought I'd kick the postings off a bit! Annoyingly I went with a colleague to get a rabbit at lunchtime and they had loads of fish but I'd left my camera in my bag! GRRR! Anyway these are the mutant carp that live in the moat around my office and stop people stealing our games :)

Cool!!

I'm so annoyed as I was actually at the friggin' BEACH this past weekend and forgot to take my camera. And the one on my phone is broken. I ate so much seafood and saw so much fish-type stuff and I have nada to show for it. :P
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

I went for a long beach walk yesterday, hoping to find the putrefying remains of a seagull's dinner, but no luck. I did, however, take some other backup shots beforehand.

Am I allowed to submit two?

Here's a silver fish pendant that my aunt gave me (Pisceans rule!) when I was a teenager. She bought it in an antique shop when she was living in Kinsale in Ireland:

And here's our fishmonger. He comes round every Thursday afternoon:

Great photos!!!

So I tried to get some photos of the plastic fake fishies on the walls of the Falls of Bruar, but there were so many people about it was impossible.   :\\\'(

So I will share with you my favourite photo of the weekend as well as my favourite "fish" photo in general.  Cheating, yes?  But the point is to get out and take pictures, right? So I did  :)

I love those! They're amazing, especially the top one.

The idea is for it to be fun, there's no such thing as cheating (except not taking the photo yourself ;) ) :)

The next theme is Halloween :)

Right, so the woman in the seaside village didn't get out and take any pics!  :-[ :P I'm definitely down for the Halloween theme, though, and will have plenty of subject material and fewer excuses.  ;) It's been so hectic around here the last two weeks since we have started new jobs. Okay, that's my last excuse!  :P

Okay, so do you want me to start a poll this week and let everyone vote for their favourites, or shall we just say here on the tread whose we like best? How does everyone else want to do this? Should we just forget the voting aspect and just take pictures? Let me know what you think!

Can I join?  ;D

Also can somebody please help a Sista out and explain to me how to post pictures in a thread? I am so not with it when it comes to computer techy things.  :-[
