Will anyone be going to Wembley for this game?  Just wondering if there might be any tailgate parties happening.  xx b

No, I went a couple of seasons ago for the Saints game but it makes for a very expensive weekend and we are going to the US for Thanksgiving, I prefer to catch a game whilst over there.

Tailgating - not what you would think of as such. The car parks will just be full, can't have tailgating like in the US, it's not what we do. They do have a "tailgate party" at the Arena but you'd need a ticket for that as well.

Customary in the UK before sports games is to meet up at the pub. Check out one called the Green Dragon or the Green Man near Wembley (can't remember which), they have a website and they usually put something on for these games.

I'm going!  There is a tailgate party this year, open to anyone who holds a ticket to the game.  See here:  http://www.nfluk.com/series/tailgate-with-the-nfl-at-wembley-IS-220910.html

We're considering going, but won't decide until they release more details about location and services/events.  The only real advantage I can see is if we wanted to make a full day of it, we could get an earlier train in and have something to do rather than take a packed train in and go straight to the stadium.

But TykeMan is right, there won't be any American-style "pull into the car park and barbeque out of your boot" activity going on.

We're going.  My husband is SO excited but I must confess I'm really just a tagalong.

Well, I am starting to get a bit excited about this! I'm not normally a football fan, but the Bronco's are my dad's favourite team and so i feel like i'm going for him. But it does sound like it will be a good day. xx b

Picked my tickets up at the Sorting Office this morning. They were sent Special Delivery. Of course they've included a catalog of merch... more temptations. ::)

Ours were sent by the same service that UKBA used to send our visas.  Which means that they don't actually try to deliver first.  Annoying, because I was home all last week.  But now I have to stay home on Wednesday between 9am-5pm and wait for delivery.  Hmph.

I really hope the weather is good on Sunday.  I need to start plotting my layers!

Oh, yes... the weather! As long as it's not raining, I'll be happy.
