I know you used to be able to go in person and not have to leave your passport and while the DVLA website says you can go there in person to apply still wondering if this is the case (not leaving the passport) for US citizens?
My passport expires the first week of December so I need to renew it so I wanted to avoid sending it in to the DVLA if possible...
