Michigan to Midlands :)

Hi all,
My husband found me this forum to help with my transition from the US to UK.  He moved over to the US 5 years ago, and a similar forum helped him with transitioning and having similar experiences.

We are probably going to be moving in late november to the east midlands.  I am excited and scared at the same time.  I have been to this area of England a lot-when my husband and I were dating long distance.

Looking forward to getting involved on the website.

Welcome!  I moved from Cleveland, Ohio to the West Midlands in June.  I am also a University of Michigan fan.

I think we will be around the Derby area, not positive on the exact location yet.  I know we will be Duffield for about a month until we get settled into our own place.

If you're going to be in Duffield then you'll be about 2 miles from me

where in michigan are you from?  We leave for the UK Jan 10th.  It is coming up so soon!

sorry! I try to make sure I get sent a message when someone responds, but then I find out I didn't and see days later I had a question I needed to answer! lol
