You should all have your assignments by now. If you didn't get a PM from me or if you have any questions about it, please let me know!

If you're still having trouble coming up with gift ideas, I often find that doing a bit of investigative work on UKY helps! You might also want to check your person's profile page - there might be a link to a blog that could give you some tips.

Please make sure your recipient gets his/her gift by 20 December.

It's up to you whether or not you identify yourself to your recipent in the parcel you send. I'm going to keep my identity secret for now, but you can decide for yourself. However, I do ask that you please DO NOT identify yourself on the forum! This includes talking about whether or not you've received your parcel, whether or not you've posted it, etc.

Also, it's up to you when you open your present. We're going to have a virtual party and gift-opening day on Tuesday 21 December (there'll be a new thread for that), but I realise that some of you might not have very strong will-power! The 21st is when you can thank your gift-giver publicly and let everyone know whose name you had.

Hope all this is clear!  ;D

Oh barbara_g, my elves would like to know if you have any

...strong likes
...strong dislikes
...aversion to/preference for food-related goodies

...anything else that might help them get you the best gift possible!

Love,

And may I also add that you can use the top secret Santa account to post suggestions for gifts for people you know. If you know someone in person and they're too shy to ask for presents but you think you know what they'd like, Santa can drop a few hints! [smiley=elf.gif]

Happy holidays!

Just an FYI, but the email is showing up as hidden when I went and looked!
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

I tried logging in, and the e-mail's visible once you login as Santa. (You don't need the e-mail address to login, just the Santa username.)

Good morning everyone!  Your friendly Chit Chat moderator here (see my pointy black hat?!  [smiley=dunce.gif] ;)) - just a quick note & I'll be back here shortly to explain further...

Santa is undergoing some net-savvy administrative & technological updates!  Bear with us for just a moment while the work is in progress.
