Zilch here on the south coast, but Jewlz just put on Facebook that she's snowed in!  Colour me jealous!

Apparently, it's pouring it down in the Bristol area.

Heavy now- couple of inches

Friend of mine lives in a hill overlooking town- he had 4 inches this morning, I imagine he's up to 8 by now

Apparently, it's pouring it down in the Bristol area.

My parents live just north of Bristol and my mum's just told me that they've only had a few flakes so far. However, other friends of mine in Bristol have put pictures of snow-covered gardens up on facebook this evening, so there's definitely more snow around in the city.

We've got nothing here in Exeter yet, but looking at the radar pictures this afternoon, it looks like the current snow is just going to miss us, at least over the next couple of days.

Well didn't last too long here yesterday, thank goodness- though our forecast (thanks ksand, we will all blame you for the weather now!!!   ;) :P ;) :P) looks a bit ominous over the next few days. Yeap, its winter!

Yes, ksand24, now that we know who to blame...  ;)

Hmm, yeah... maybe I shouldn't have said anything :P...

Heavy snow forcasted for a few hours in the overnight for York!  Trains better be running tomorrow, or I will not be a happy bunny.  In fact, if trains are disrupted I will be a very, very unhappy bunny!

Me too!  Maybe it won't do anything.  We've had almost nothing in Leeds, except for a few flakes yesterday & that was that.  Hoping it stays that way!

We've got a few flakes on the ground, but it doesn't seem to be sticking :(.  Ksand24, any insight on whether Dorchester will get any snow?

I'll bet they're still running!  Years ago we went up to Edinburgh for Hogmanay & there was a LOT of snow all up the eastern coast there, and the trains still went.  And it was beeaaauooootiful looking out the train windows at the snow & seeing the icy waves crashing up & all.   Hope you have a great time!  :)

I'd just like to add that yesterday (Thanksgiving) it was 77F in Tennessee... And now it's 31F, with a low temp to night of 28F. That's almost a 50 degree drop in less than 24 hrs.  :o I've had a headache all day from the sudden change. If it's gonna be this cold it better snow!!  ;)

Well it's finally hit Glasgow.  Just an inch or two so far, and it's stopped for now.  Problem is we have to go pick my parents up at the airport and BF has never driven to the airport, or into town, or in the snow before.  :-\\\\

Well it started sometime after 12 (when DH came to bed) and 3.30 when I woke up to get a glass of water and was still falling when I went back to bed at 4 (gotta love being sick)...stopped sometime after that and now when I got up at 7 with the munchkin there's about 2ish inches on the ground.  ;D
