The 2010-2011 Winter Snow Report Thread

Man, it's taken about 10 minutes for it to go from nothing sticking to about 1/4-1/3 inch lying.  I have not been able to get warm all day either - must be from watching it just snow and snow and snow all day!

Don't envy you 

It's been going back and forth between snow, sleet, and rain today.  It was snowing for a good while this morning, but now it's just rain.  I have a feeling it's all just going to turn to ice once the sun goes down. 

It has been snowing all freaking day here - and its really starting to stick and be really pretty nasty out!
We were out bird watching in the Caringorms and we had to turn back, as it was getting quite thick and deep - On the plus side, we saw a few crested tits- which can really only be found in northern Scotland

Goodness this snow is really mad! It's been wild out there all day

It must only be at the North Pole - it's just drizzly down here.

Crested Tits? They're not even in my birding book 

I keep oscilating between wanting to run around screaming, throwing myself into walls and thinking everything is peachy as long as I have a hot drink. Five days of off-and-on snow in March is driving me crazy.

I like those photos too, pb!  I am a bit jealous of your snow, but I think we're pretty much done with that down here in West Yorkshire.  Though it was definitely scarf and mittens weather today, despite the bright sunshine!
