Hubby making veg curry tonight.
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

Cheats' chicken pot pie using Bisquick for the topping.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

A slice of cinnamon toast. My stomach has been dodgy since Christmas night and I've had zero appetite whatsoever, but my husband insisted I eat something before bed. It's not nice looking at all the wonderful festive food and not wanting to eat any of it. :(

That's how I make my chicken pot pies, sometimes with puff pastry and sometimes with a biscuit topping.

The "Autumn tacos with onion squash and chorizo" from Thomasina Miers' Mexican Food Made Simple book (Christmas pressie!). We also made our own tortillas using the last of our masa harina and I roasted some of my (famous) tomatillos for a nice sauce on them, too.

And to top it all off, I'm not enjoying a Mexican hot chocolate with cinnamon and chili. I just hope my stomach is going to be okay with all this after three days of distress...

Going out for a meal tonight in the City Centre and thinking it will probably end up being a night to 'Thai" one on.   ;D ;D  Mrs. R or MLG is it Red Chillie that you recommend?
