Buckwheat noodles, frozen veggies mixed in, and chicken marinaded in lime, honey, pepper and olive oil. The date on the chicken was today, so, it had to be eaten. Tasted great! :D

Chicken Pie...from scratch...why am I a glutton for punishment especially when I needed to roast the chicken AND make the chicken stock as well today...or is it my husbands fault for changing his mind at the last minute?  :P

Shredded beef bbq in the slow cooker and all sorts of nibbles - some Indian appetizers, crisps, deviled eggs, Wensleydale with cranberries, nuts. We're having our own NYE party!   ;D

We're eating an early dinner out at our local seafood joint. Crab dip is definitely on the menu. YUM!
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Shrimp cocktail, warm spinach & artichoke dip with tortilla chips and a yummy cheese tray. I love reasons to do little snacky spreads!

Steak & ale pie a la The Husband (a New Year's Day tradition for us), mashed potatoes and some sort of veg. And the pudding will be a surprise since I'll be at work when he's making everything.
Let them eat cupcakes!

Officially Britishly since August 2013
