Baked potato soup, crusty bread and green salad

*It was going to just be soup and salad, but alas CCG planted an idea.

Huge, huge salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, olives, capsicum, capers, eggs and feta cheese... I can't eat any more bread or pastry this week.

That sounds quite good.

We're having roasted pork with apples we picked on Sunday.  Not sure about the rest of the meal...probably some potatoes in there as well.   :)

Oh lets see- last night's meal was 5 courses- I had amazing bread and bruschetta, pumpkin and cheese souffle, plum gnocchi, mixed meat grill (chicken, beef, pork, and amazing Italian and Slovenic sausages), fresh salad, and gelato with woodland fruits, all washed down with an amazing local cabernet sauvignon and grappa

I was so full I didn't have breakfast this morning!!!
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

My wonderful DH has had Beef Curry cooking in the (brand new) crockpot all day. :) It smells wonderful. Also having steamed rice and naan bread.

He's the cook lately - Last night he made pie and mash. ;D

I am doing roasted chicken, carrots, potatoes, and onions in the crock put today.  Will make a nice salad to go with it, and probably pick up some rolls.  I go in to HR this afternoon to do my paperwork before starting on Monday, and our new nanny is getting a trial run today so I want this evening to be easy...

Inlaws were over this past weekend, and somehow I managed to agree to cook supper for them this week.  So I am making oxtail soup with crusty bread (both gluten free and regular) and a vegetable quiche with some gluten free crust.  Or crustless if I can't find something that will do.  I could do almond meal, but it absolutely has to say gluten free on it or I can't use it.  Not sure what I am making for dessert or if I am just going to buy it when I get the bread and crust ingredients.

I'm adding a few more carrots, mushrooms and potatoes to last night's beef stew to fluff it up enough for an evening meal.

We're gonna have baked potatoes with roasted veggies and maybe some homemade coleslaw, too. DH will probably have a sandwich with his.

Everything sounds delish! It's too early on this side of the pond; but i am enjoying doughnuts (my weakness) and a second cup of coffee while going through a series of emails on why we should terminate someone. :(
