I am seriously rushing tonight, so I opened a tin of carrot and coriander soup.   :-\\\\  But at least I added oyster crackers to it!  ;D

I was wandering how does that taste? Heinz did away with my Carrot & lentil soup an replaced it carrot and coriander soup. I'm not a happy camper they completely did away with my soup it was very filling & good for you as well.  >:(  ::)

Hope Mr. A recovers quickly!

Hope his recovery is speedy!

He's doing a lot better than yesterday and earlier.  He was really meant to go back to work today, but he could barely move this morning, so he called in, which is rare.

The dinner turned out pretty good.  I added some mashed potatoes though at the last minute because I didn't want to have to cook something later at night if Mr A got hungry.

Baked fish with steamed cauliflower, swede and parsnips, and mashed carrots.

Probably doing cottage pie and salad if the veg box dude comes.  He's usually here by now.

Hubby is craving cottage pie, so that is what we are having. It sounds like good comfort food for an icky, rainy day.

I'd probably pay £10 for one can of root beer at the moment.  ::) These people just don't know what they are missing.

We are all each a little bit crazy, a little bit different and a little bit the same.

Leftover soup. Maybe some leftover Thai green curry for me, too.

It tastes OK for a tinned soup.  But you're right, its not very filling- I was hungry not long after.

Tonight's dinner- using up lots of allotment veg- made a salad of lettuce/chard/cucumbers (mmm these were really yummy!)/red-orange-yellow tomatoes and made a roasted cauliflower and parmesan soup
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

DH took me for a cheer-up meal at Thai Thai (our fave). It actually worked, when I thought nothing would! There's something about going to a place where every single member of staff remembers you and comes over to have a chat. :)
Finally living with my Husband in London after 6 1/2 years together but apart... and loving my life!
