I would reduce the amount of beef stock.to 1 1/2 cup..and add extra cornstarch..about another tablespoon...

it's really nice....

I never measure when I follow recipes anyway.  :-X I just get the jyst of what to do, and I do it. It's how my momma taught me. ;)

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Mock tacos made with brown lentils instead of beef. Squirellypoo posted about them a while back.

The butternut squash we got for the Wellingtons last night is massive, so it's onto butternut squash soup tonight to try and use the other half.

I bought a gammon joint at half price last week during the Christmas clearance. So I'll be making that tonight along with a cheesy potato bake and roasted carrots. The leftover ham will be used tomorrow to make black bean and ham soup. Two nights of cheap eats! :)
Let them eat cupcakes!
