Turkey steaks, steamed veg (mix of what needs to be used  before shopping tomorrow) and mashed carrots. Hubby is on a mashed carrot kick at the moment.

Roasted acorn squash and corn on the cob with sauteed spinach.

I'd probably pay £10 for one can of root beer at the moment.  ::) These people just don't know what they are missing.

A lot of little Chinese shops sell A&W here in London. Perhaps you can find some there in Blackburn?

I will have to look around. We generally go to the same one every time, but if I can find one that sells A&W it will be worth switching or popping in once in wile just for root beer. Thanks for the info!  :)

Another nibbles kinda day for us. Homemade chicken noodle soup from yesterday, zucchini bisquick egg thingy (what the heck is that called?), and some bruschetta. DH will have a pork pie as well, I'm sure!

My local corner shop sells Cherry 7-UP in cans but the ASDA in my area sells cherry 7-UP in the big 2 liter bottles. Cherry 7-UP has alot of sugar in it so I don't have all that often I would rather have a chocolate candy bar if I'm going to cheat I just like knowing its there if I want it though. ;)  :)

Gammon done on the GF grill Dh is having a baked tater as his side I'm not sure if I'm having steamed veggies & steamed rice or having a baked tater. were having bangers & mash on Sunday so not sure if I should potatoes 2 nights in a row. ::)  :P I know potatoes aren't that bad for you but on the LO GI diet your not supposed to have them all that often. I do crave them now & then that's when I have them but then I get back on the horse the next day though. ;)  :)

Mmm! I also love Cherry 7-Up.

We're having tacos tonight.

I made a light version of chicken parm, sauteed kale, and more homemade bruschetta, at the request of DH. :)

Yeap, mango and corn, with a tiny bit of very finely chopped onions and peppers and cucumbers and black olives, marinated in a spicy lime-vinaigrette dressing that I made and corriander. But the main stars were mango and corn and it was really nice!  :)

I'm going to try my hand at a chicken and leek pie. I'll make cooked carrots to go with it.
