That sounds good!

We're having cottage pie and salad.

Lol! I'm headed to the US in a few days so I am really stretching to use up the food I have in the house. I'm not sure these 2 recipes go together, but they both came out great! Hope you enjoy. :)

I only made the balls although next time I will try the sauce too. This made about 28 balls and they look like they will freeze beautifully!

I carmelised onion and left out the bread and creamer as it was thick enough. I also didn't bother to peel the apples or potato as I like to keep all my nutrients.

Mmm, thanks, those both look great!

Lots of nice meals on here tonight-

For some reason I was feeling ambitious this evening, probably because I didn't have a rehearsal tonight to run off to-I'm currently munching- Carrot soup (picked a glut of carrots yesterday), American style biscuits (mmm), and maple applesauce for dessert
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

Baked basa fish with loads of steamed veggies.

I made a prawn and cashew stir fry, using up the rest of the veggies from the fridge. ;) Plus some steamed rice.

Half price burger night at the local pub! I'll either get a turkey burger with jalapeno cheese and avocado or the black bean burger.

What's basa fish?

I just had a look on Google, and it is a cousin to the catfish. We get the lightly breaded/peppered ones from Morrisons. The ones we used to get are no longer available (at least at my local Morrisons) but we now get the Youngs brand ones. You can get them either chilled or frozen, but we prefer the chilled.

It is all baking and steaming away, but looking out the window at how wet, cool and nasty it is, it was probably a good night to have chili or a stew. Might be doing that tomorrow night.

That sounds nice. I'd never heard of it before so now when I see it, I'll remember. :)

We don't eat a huge amount of fish, but we like it once in a while.

Split mung bean and sweet potato curry- doubt it was very authentic, I used this recipe
But - it was nice and warming and filling and used things I had on hand so I didn't need to go back out in this dreadful weather

Yay for mung beans!  Your curry sounds good.

I made an Italian-style tomato-y veggie and lentil stew.  With white cheddar CheezeIts sprinkled on top!  (CheezeIts courtesy of Mrs.Robinson)  :)

Leftover black bean soup and the best broccoli I've ever tasted. Yum.

What made the broccoli so good? Just good quality, or a good recipe? :)

We're having hamburgers with baked potatoes and some homemade red cabbage coleslaw. Lots of veggies on the burgers, too!

When we finally get hungry we will have an odd combination. We had a very late lunch of whole wheat spaghetti with meat and mushroom sauce. We'll have the leftovers of it with turkey steaks that either need to be eaten tonight or frozen.
