We had chicken, fennel, leek, and broccoli wraps and acorn squash baked with brown sugar and butter. :) It was use-up-the-rest-of-the-veg-box night. But it turned out so yummy!

Well it's an experiment...tried doing a vegetable tagine in the slow cooker today...  Except I think it's pretty mushy (cooked too long) - hopefully it'll still taste good, but may be more suited to just whizzing it up for soup instead.

This was kinda bad.  :P  Far too mushy (overcooked) for a tagine...  Another day, I'm gonna lightly sauté some chilies & whizz up the leftovers with a little more vegetable (or chicken) stock and make thick soup - it wasn't far off from that tonight.  :-\\\\

This sounds yummy.  I have been meaning to go get myself an acorn squash to bake up (and next year will attempt to grow my own in the allotment!)

Not sure what we are having or if we will have anything. We snacked at 4:30 so we may not be hungry enough to eat later. An easy night sounds good to me.  ;D

Not quite a stir-fry, but in that vein....I threw together veggie chicken pieces, noodles and broccoli with soy sauce, Chinese 5 spice, and a friend's homemade plum sauce (though he's calling it Chinese plum ketchup).

Hubby had steak with veggies.

I think tonight's going to be pizza.

Chicken and leek pie. I made some pastry last night. I'll use one crust tonight and I threw the other one in the freezer. I want to make some more to freeze so I'll always have some on hand!

I had never cooked acorn squash before actually. It was in my veg box, so I looked up a recipe, and that seemed to be the most popular one... But honestly, it was so good I could eat it every day!

We're having a mish mash of stuff today. Mushroom and filo tarts, bruschetta, and steamed potatoes.
