Chicken kievs and oven chips. I'm having cheddar and roasted onion kievs, and he is having garlic butter ones.

Indian takeaway to go with our cheesy 80's DVD.

I have a bad cold that I probably picked up on the flight home and can't be bothered to cook.

Just gotta ask what the cheesy 80's DVD is. I am all about the 80's cheese!  ;D Hope you feel better soon.

We're having a chicken tikka masala made with M&S tikka sauce, over rice with a bit of carrot, onion, red bell pepper and crushed peanuts added, over rice with peshwari naan bread.

Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, but what are kievs?

Letting wiki explain: "boneless chicken breast pounded and rolled around cold garlic butter with herbs, then breaded and either fried or baked"

We buy ours premade, but I've heard they are easy to actually make.

Tonight: Chicken pie with a puff pastry crust, mashed potatoes, canellini beans, brussels sprouts for him and a baked sweet potato for me.

We had BBQ chicken a la Costco, with celeriac and mushrooms roasted with marsala wine.

Honey glazed gammon joint with pineapple rings on it, steamed carrots, swede, leek and mushrooms, and black peas. I've never tried black peas but hubby says they are incredible.
