I've got a whole chicken & veg in the crockpot.  Once that's cooked, I'll skin, debone & break up the chicken, then the noodles go in.  I've got a cold so I want comfort food!

I am not going completely decadent, however, so I won't be serving it over mashed potatoes, even though that's how it's supposed to be done.  :D

[smiley=2thumbsup.gif]  I'm impressed you put veg in yours. Mine's just chicken and noodles! I always have green beans on the side.

It's just carrots, celery, onion & a little garlic - but at least it's veg!  :)

Ooo boy! How does he eat that and not get heartburn? ;D

LOL! We keep a supply of antacids handy. I guess he thinks it's worth it. It's not diet food, but I have to admit it is pretty darn tasty once in a while, when I can manage to stomach the grease.  ;) He absolutely LOVES it, but to save his arteries, I try not to make it more than once every 6 weeks or so! I just slice and fry the chorizo, then remove it, fry a chopped onion in the orange fat from the sausage, then add some diced potato until cooked, then throw the chorizo back in and top it all with a fried egg and a generous dash of Cholula. I have no idea where I came up with this, must have had a hangover or something that day (this is a brilliant cure, by the way!)  :P

Hubby had a garlic chicken pizza. A friend of ours and I had mini pies (chicken and steak) with a baked potato and butter beans. Hubby doesn't like the pastry on the pies, so he opted for the pizza.

DF would love this!  I may have to throw this into our rotation sometime soon.  ;D

I made some veal (british, rose), parmesan and rosemary meatballs, browned them in some EVOO with garlic and a diced onion, and some cubed carrot, then blitzed some tomatoes and scotch bonnets, added them, some chicken stock, seasoning, cumin, ancho chilli powder, other stuff I can't remember, butter beans and a dash of low fat creme fraiche, to make a spicy soup. mmmmm.

Made monkfish wrapped in pancetta, baked potatoes, maple roasted carrots, and broccoli last night. Mmmm.

Dh is sick so he is going to probably have soup again for dinner. I'm having steak done on the GF grill, a baked sweet tater, & some steamed veggies.

Burritos made with BBQ beef from the freezer, fresh spinach, tomatoes, and avocado. And probably some leftover potato soup, which I made yesterday (thanks to that thread giving me a craving!)

I call it a spicy Italian-style lentil and veggie soup / stew.  Sorta like an Italian chili or Italian curry if that makes sense.  :)

We had sweet chilli chicken stir fry over rice, with wraps.
