I've been really into making the home made savory pies!

Tonight was a Creamy Chicken pot pie, in a puff pastery, with mashed potatoe and chicken gravy.

You know what I am dying for though? Breakfast for dinner! Maple sausage links, eggs and a big heap of pancakes drowned in maple syrup. And a side of sausage gravy and buttermilk biscuits! I will more than likely dream of this tonight! haha ):

We had an odd one tonight, leftover cottage pie from yesterday with chicken kievs.

I recently made homemade biscuits for the first time, and they were SO good! And not too hard. It's the American breakfast sausage that I just can't duplicate...

Waitrose do a lovely rough cut free range pork mince, that I normally marinate, then season up, then add some breadcumbs and an egg if I have one :)

I have zero attachment to breakfast sausage, so just sort of make a tasty pork burger :)

Ooh, thanks for the tip!

I worked extra late today, but DH is making steak and veg pie, roast potatoes, and broccoli. :)

We had beef stew with loads of veggies in it. I used leeks instead of onion this time. It made a nice change.

I'll definitely have to try making biscuits soon.

Very veggie chili once again, but a quickie version using a shortcut ready-made chili sauce and seasonings and veggies that wouldn't take ages to cook down (so no carrots or celery, but yes to onions, peppers and courgettes).  I had mine with veggie chicken pieces mixed in, hubby had diced turkey in his.

chicken breasts stuffed with herb cream cheese and wrapped in bacon, succotash, and probably steamed potatoes for my husband. I'm not feeling too carby at the mo.

Hubs has some pork chops on the go, what looks like gravy, and more cabbage!  We've had so much cabbage lately - not my favourite, but I know he'll make it taste nice.  And there'll be wine too!  ;D

I was going to make a steak, mushroom, and ale pie for dinner tonight, but I think we'll just go out for something cheap tonight and I'll make the pie tomorrow night. I don't feel like eating at 9pm tonight!
