We'll be finishing off last night's beef stew. The intention was to finish it for lunch today but we had tacos instead.

Last night I had a bunless handmade hamburger done on the GF grill, steamed veggies & steamed rice, Dh didn't wanted what I had so he had some potato croquet's, baked beans, & something called crispy bakes.

Tonight's is Chili that was made last night but we like it better the next day. ;)  ;D

I'd intended to make baked fish and loads of steamed veggies, but MIL just sent a text inviting us over and she'd get Chinese. Suits me!  ;D

We recently bought one of these pie makers for really cheap:

So we tried it out today. ;D I made steak and veg filling in the crock pot, and we used puff pastry. So good! DH made roasted potatoes and onions to go with. :)

Impromtu dinner at my friend's house last night-
We had a veggie/meaty/ragu sauce type of thing over pasta and mince pies afterwards.  Was very nice!  :)

The really nice thing about having an allotment is that when you've hit the end of the month and you're really skint, you can just pull up veg from the ground and my stores of veg, and still have a nice meal  :)

Made bacon, leek, onion, cabbage and potato soup, warming and yummy!
First leeks out of the garden!

That sounds heavenly!

Tonight we're having Thanksgiving part 1. Since hubby doesn't care for turkey, it will be a baked chicken, sage and onion dressing, green bean casserole, baked sweet potatoes (with marshmallow) mashed potatoes & gravy and pumpkin pie. Oooooh!

We had baked breaded cod, homemade rice-a-roni with wine and romano cheese, and steamed parsnips and broccoli. :)
