Baked chicken breast and dauphinoise potatoes.

My dh really wants to try dauphinoise potatoes.  Do you have a good recipe?

It is my first time making them-I bought double cream over Christmas and need to use it up.  This is the recipe that I plan on using:

Perhaps I should say 'sort of follow'.  I don't have full fat milk, only semi skimmed, and no fresh thyme.
So I suppose I'm making more of a tribute to dauphinoise potatoes.   :-[

Oooh! Healthy!

I'm sick so can't taste properly. Probably just going to have soup and grilled cheese.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Spaghetti with tomato sauce and a side salad.

Shrimp and zucchini sauteed with butter and garlic, over angel hair, plus a side of green beans.

You guys are making me hungry!!!

I've got some grilled chicken in a marinade that I grilled yesterday.  Think I'm going to put that over some mixed spring greens and add some poppyseed dressing, with a small side of leftover long grain wild rice!!!

Now I'm salivating!

Leftover curry.

Apparently now I'm on a mission to eat as much food as possible in the next 3 days, since there's no way it'll fit into the new flat's fridge. Yay.

Haha, I used to have clean-out-my-fridge cooking parties at the end of the school year when I was in college. I always loved it. ;) Enjoy.

Major dentist appointment today and I may be in some pain tonight  :( so I'll have to think of something squishy (something involving potatoes and red lentils maybe), and make it ahead of time as I may not feel like cooking either.  But knowing me I will probably be hungry despite the possible discomfort.

Hubby is on his own tonight with salmon from the freezer, potato wedges and steamed broccoli.
