We ordered curry again. We've figured out that we are being too restrictive through the day with dieting, so that when evening comes we are struggling to be good, and tonight we caved in.

I made homemade chicken nuggets with a mustard-lemony-herby breadcrumb, sweet potato chips, and brussels sprouts

Sometimes you just need comfort food and you don't feel like cooking much.  After a crap day, I needed both.

Mashed an avacado and spread it on toast, and I grilled a tuna steak rare and topped the toast.  Tiny sprinkling of rooster sauce.

I had a happy mouth.

I don't know where we're going, but we're going O-U-T! I told DH to pick a place. I'm ready for this week to be over!

Neither of us remembered to get anything out of the freezer this morning ::) [smiley=doh.gif] so we had different meals tonight. we have a Subway card that had enough points to a free footlong sub so that's what I had. Dh has wanted fish & chips for a while so that's what he had. I didn't fancy fish & chips & Dh didn't fancy Subway so it was a win win for us both lol. ;)  ;D since I got a footlong I saved the other half for my lunch tomorrow mmm mmm good!! ;D  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

This sounds really lovely.

I've got a sausage and butter bean soup in the slow cooker.  Going to have this with some gorgeous crusty bread I bought.

Steak and mushrooms pan sauteed in olive oil and thyme, with a small baked potato, steamed runner beans and spinach.

I'm going to have a green smoothie. Been eating like crap lately so definitely trying to cut back. Had a real lunch of some tofu tacos and snacked on a bunch of oranges but breakfast was a slim fast shake with hemp protein powder (I know, not really all that healthy but fairly low cal) and dinner will be a green smoothie made with kale.

I've marinated some gorgeous swordfish steaks in a wine/oil/herb/lemon mixture and going to grill them. I've got pumpkin and fennel roasting, going to also have some purple cabbage and steam broccoli.
I can't wait, not long now...

Yum! What time should we all show up?  ;D

It all turned out fantastic! The beans were lightly steamed so they were still every so slightly crisp. Perfect!
