Oh boy, that ranks up there with people joking that a dress/whatever is 'so heavy' when I mention it was 30 pounds.

We're having cottage pie and roasted chantenay carrots.

Leftover soup, the rest of the loaf of spelt bread, and maybe eggs.  Or fried mushrooms and onions.  I haven't decided.

I have to go out to a team meeting/meal this evening and I am so not in the right frame of mind to go, as I am having a horrible time with my job right now.  I'm also missing band practice because of it and that's putting me in a worse mood.

Going out for a curry.  At least I know the meal will be good.  I will avoid any alcohol for fear I may say something I shouldn't though.   :-\\\\

Hoping your night gets better, PB!

I made my own version of moussaka. Roasted eggplant slices, layered with leftover shredded lamb in a tomato sauce made with cinnamon and oregano, with feta cheese on top. :) Also had some pasta tossed with butter and steamed vegetables.

Chicken leek and ham pie, made a Pâte brisée for the crust in about 10 minutes, came out lovely, flaky and light :)

Sounds awesome (I'd sub the lamb with something else though....)!

It's meat night for hubby, I'm having pasta, chick peas, veggie chicken pieces all mixed up in a tomato sauce.  It's my new favorite quick meal.

It turned out great actually! :) My cooking is always best when I don't follow a recipe. It was quicker than regular moussaka, and I think tastier. ;)

Tonight, I'm on my own again since DH is having his 2nd scuba diving lesson! Sauteeing chicken with onion, fennel, and celery and having it in a baguette with a baked sweet potato.

I have no appetite again  ???  This is getting strange. Stress? Sickness? Both?  Maybe a bowl of cereal in a bit if I get hungry  ???

Hope you figure it out and get back to normal eating again soon. :)

We had an odd, interesting and filling combination of baked basa fish and a ham and cheese toastie (or grilled cheese with ham and as I'd call it) with lettuce, tomato and cucumber.

Hope you don't have the horrible noro virus that is going around down here! :(

The beetroot curry recipe is from the Waitrose website and is WAY better than you ever expect it to be. By far one of the nicest things I have found to do with beetroot.  :D
