Tonight will be something cobbled together from the following:  two frozen chicken thighs (which need to be cooked), some leftover cooked chicken bits that are in the freezer, and an assorted choice of veg.  Maybe a chicken stew, chicken/veg rice or pasta thing - oh the possibilities!  :P

Were having something similar were having Turkey casserole & mashed potatoes. Mil made the turkey casserole hopefully we both like she is a really good cook but the last casserole she gave us wasn't any good though hopefully it was just a one off.  ;)  :)

Hope it's good this time! This sausage and lentil's recipe is one of my all-time favs!

Thanks, ;)  our meal was much better this time!!  :)

Omg we made enchiladas and they were so freaking tasty! It was the first time I've ever made any and we will DEFINITELY be using this recipe again. My husband thought he'd died and gone to heaven!

I'm grilling up some marinaded steak tips.  Some rice pilaf, a baked potato, and some green peas.  Yummy.

We were so exhausted last night that I scrapped my dinner plans, and we had salad and olive cheese bread. But it was delicious. :)

Tonight I have to use the chicken I defrosted for yesterday. It'll probably be stir fry or enchiladas.

I'm still having trouble eating anything too warm or too chewy.   :-\\\\  Had tinned soup last night (first time in *years* as I always make my soups from scratch)--butternut squash and sweet potato, lukewarm.  The night before that I had squishy squash and potato stew, lukewarm, while hubs had pizza (too chewy for me!).

Don't know about tonight, but I think hubby wants sausages (meat--he's on his own here) and mash, so at least I'll get some mashed potatoes.

I hope your tooth feels better soon Andee.  I had the same restrictions when I got my wisdom teeth out.  I had far too many room temp scrabbled eggs during that time.  :P

Tonight BF will be flexing his culinary muscles and attempting a parsley and pumpkin seed pesto with prawns and pasta.  He's using the River Cottage cookbook I got him for Christmas and I think he's excited.  :)
