BF got spicy bean soup from tesco, and added a fried egg on top. Yum!

J wanted meat.

So we had rump steaks, oven sweet potato chips and red cabbage.

Last night we had burgers and chips.

Tonight is a hodge podge - I think we'll both have jacket potatoes with beans and cheese, DH will have a piece of fish with his, and I'll probably slice up some cucumber to have as 'salad'.

We had a buffalo chicken salad, crustless quiche, and I made a little bruschetta.

Yumzor.

We went to Byron as we were at Westfield, buying an insane amount of clothes. I was pretty good, the boy however cleaned out Banana Republic & Uniqlo. Oh dear, I seem to have transferred my addiction to him.

I've been working so much I haven't even had time to make my very veggie chilli in ages!  So I've been bringing home meat or salmon for hubby (he cooks it) and throwing something makeshift together for myself.  Last night hubby did it for me as I had to stay a bit late at work.  I said throw a *little bit* of pasta in (with chick peas, pasta sauce and veggie sausages cut up) and he made enough for 4 people, so I'll guess I'll be having it the next few nights, too, but that's OK as hubby's set with his meat and fish for a while.

We're having roasted veggie lasagna tonight. We've been making it once a week, but I could easily have it twice.  ;D

Not sure what we'll have for tea tonight as I have no idea what time we will finally sit down for dinner. Meant to get the roast started earlier but we walked to the Co-Op for the paper and swung into a friend's house who is right around the corner and had a cup of tea. They're just moving in and saw us walking and invited us around. An hour later and we finally started for home so the roast just went in about 15 minutes ago  :P

Probably some cheese on toast?? Always a good Sunday night stand-by for us.

sounds good!  I'd make double and freeze the rest for later in the week!

Ocado  delivered us a giant 2.5Kg gammon, which is great, as I called them and they said just keep it (it was a sub for a small 0.5kg ham and you only pay the original price if Ocado sub something), so I had no idea what to do with it, so I cooked the freaking thing and now I have 2.5kg of ham for two people...

I'm going to freeze some I guess?!

Maybe pea and ham soup? Ham pie?! Ham sandwiches?! I don't even like gammon THAT much.

Mmmmm ham! Lucky you!  :)

I had two perfectly ripe avocados (have been ripening them in a paper bag) & they transformed into a bowl of fresh guacamole.  It's Tex-Mex night at ours!  ;D

I've got the flu, so last night I had chicken noodle soup and half a bagel.

Feeling a little bit better today, but still in bed. DH just got home from work and is making a chicken and veggie stir fry with noodles.  :) I'm well taken care of.
